Bihar lists mineral finds worth Rs 21,000 crore

Surveys from 2021 to 2024 identified minerals worth over Rs 21,000 crore in Rohtas, Jamui, Gaya and Jehanabad, Livemint reported. Officials said the finds could bring over Rs 5,000 crore in annual mining revenue once mines operate. That would top Bihar's record Rs 3,592 crore from minor minerals. Rohtas holds 130.11 million tonnes of glauconite valued at Rs 14,048 crore.
