The Election Commission directed new electoral roll applicants to furnish parents' Special Intensive Revision details along with Form 6, New Indian Express reported. The declaration, introduced during Bihar's SIR last June, was made mandatory by instruction without formally amending Form 6 itself. Online applicants cannot proceed until the parental declaration is completed in full online.
