Murmu appoints three additional judges to AP High Court

President Droupadi Murmu on July 3, 2026, appointed three judicial officers as additional judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court in consultation with the Chief Justice of India. The appointees are Sunitha Gandham, Alapati Giridhar and Purushottam Kumar Chintalapudi. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their names on May 4 after the court had eight vacancies.
