Biren tells Shah Manipur wants NRC before census

Former Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh said on 18 August he met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi the previous day. He told Shah that people want a National Register of Citizens before any census in the State. He also raised economic blockades that have cut supplies and raised prices.
