Alibaba to add Europe and Middle East cloud regions

Alibaba will open first cloud regions in Turkey, Finland and the Netherlands within 12 months, Li Feifei said in Hangzhou. The company will also expand data centres in Malaysia, Germany, the UAE, France and Hong Kong. The push supports a 20-gigawatt global infrastructure buildout. Alibaba outlined a $53 billion three-year AI investment plan in 2025.
