Channi says Centre and Punjab share drug blame

Former Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi said the Centre and Punjab keep blaming each other while drugs reach villages. He told The Indian Express higher seizures do not prove success if supply continues. He backed listing Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Fazilka and Ludhiana as ultra-sensitive zones. He noted BSF jurisdiction rose to 50 km in 2021.
