Gunfire in Noney a day after clash kills 1 cadre

Fresh gunfire was reported in Manipur's Noney district on Saturday morning after a ZUF-Jenchui and ZUF-Kamson clash. Police said firing was heard between Nungtek Part II and Haochong, northeast of the district headquarters. A day earlier, ZUF-K chief secretary Dingtiplung Gonmei was killed at Oktan village. There was still no official confirmation of Saturday casualties.
