US mercenary VanDyke seeks to cook own Tihar meals

US national Matthew Aaron VanDyke, arrested by the NIA in a Myanmar terror training case, moved a Delhi court seeking permission to prepare his own food in Tihar Jail, Times of India reported on July 9. He said jail meals are oily, spicy and deep-fried, causing health problems. The court listed the matter for July 21 after notice to jail authorities.
