Lucknow SBI employee shoots wife, sister, then himself

On 20 August 2026, SBI employee Manas Vajpayee, 38, shot his wife Divya Mishra outside an ICICI Bank branch in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar. She worked there as a relationship manager and was declared dead at hospital. He then went home, shot his 28-year-old sister Shiva Vajpayee, and died by suicide. The couple had been living separately for over a year.
