Karnataka plans industry curricula for 30,000 vacant seats

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said the state will set up a special committee for industry-based curricula. At KEONICS' 50th anniversary in Bengaluru on September 22, he cited 30,000 vacant engineering seats and pay near Rs 20,000 a month. KEONICS chair Sharath Kumar Bache Gowda said over 130 centres trained more than 1.39 lakh students since FY 2019-20.
