India beer volumes grew 12% annually from 2021 to 2025

Indian beer volumes rose about 12% each year from 2021 to 2025, more than twice spirits growth, Mint reported citing IWSR data. Volumes climbed from 21.29 million hectolitres to 36.9 million hectolitres while spirits reached 38.15 million hectolitres. Premium beer's sales share grew from 12% in 2021 to 22% in 2026, Brewers Association of India data showed.
