BJP on July 14 hailed former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain's conviction in Intelligence Bureau officer Ankit Sharma's 2020 Delhi riots murder. Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia demanded apologies from Arvind Kejriwal, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi over CAA protests. AAP said Hussain was suspended within hours of the FIR and later contested as an AIMIM candidate from Mustafabad.
