Madhya Pradesh revives student union polls after 9 years

Madhya Pradesh is preparing student union elections for the first time since 2017. ABVP and NSUI are mobilising campuses. On August 3 the High Court directed colleges to hold September polls listed in the 2026-27 calendar. Direct elections stopped in 2003 after clashes. A 2017 indirect round was the last.
