Kolkata march protests assaults on Jadavpur campus

On 21 August 2026, students, teachers, alumni and other residents marched from Jadavpur University's football ground after clashes on the night of 19 August and the afternoon of 20 August. The walk went toward Dhakuria. Teachers also held a two-hour cease-work at Aurobindo Bhavan. The university formed a four-member committee to look at both days.
