Nine former Maoist women walk Raipur handloom ramp

Nine surrendered women Maoists walked a Kosa silk ramp in Raipur on National Handloom Day, August 7. Eight were from Sukma and one from Bijapur. Seven had surrendered in Hyderabad over the past year. They received seven days of Mumbai-led training. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met them. All nine now live at Sukma's Punarwas Kendra.
