Vipul named India's next envoy to Saudi Arabia

Seasoned diplomat Vipul has been appointed India's next ambassador to Saudi Arabia, The Hindu reported citing the Ministry of External Affairs. A 1998-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, he currently serves as India's ambassador to Qatar and is expected to take up the Saudi assignment shortly. The posting comes amid West Asia volatility for New Delhi.
