SSC opens applications for 1748 JE posts

The Staff Selection Commission has released the Junior Engineer examination 2026 notification on ssc.gov.in and opened applications. The drive covers 1748 posts, including Scientific Assistant roles in the India Meteorological Department. Paper-I is tentatively set for October or November 2026, and Paper-II for December 2026. Unreserved male candidates pay Rs 100; women and SC, ST or PwD applicants are fee-exempt.
