Deputy CM pledges Union meeting for reservation protesters

On 22 August 2026 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said demands of the reservation reform movement would be placed before the BJP central leadership. He promised a meeting with a Union minister within two days. He spoke at a press conference with Harsh Dubey, who said he is leading the Jantar Mantar protest.
