MP approves Rs 962.50 crore sports complexes with helipads

Madhya Pradesh's Cabinet gave in-principle approval Tuesday for Rs 962.50 crore to build Chief Minister Sports Complexes in 140 Assembly constituencies over five years. MSME minister Chetanya Kashyap said each site will include a helipad for air ambulances. The 2026-27 state budget allocated Rs 815 crore for sports and youth welfare. The department runs 11 academies across 18 disciplines.
