ABVP wins 3 DUSU posts as Shokeen takes VP

The RSS-affiliated ABVP won three of four Delhi University Students Union central panel posts on September 19, 2026. ABVP presidential candidate Yash Dabas polled 24,576 votes, defeating NSUI's Vijai Shankar Meena by 2,053. Independent Deepanshu Shokeen won vice-president with 30,615 votes after being denied an NSUI ticket. Congress-backed NSUI won none of the four central posts.
