BJP wins mayor posts in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota

BJP candidates won mayor races on Friday in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota municipal corporations in Rajasthan. Sunil Kothari took Jaipur with 89 votes to 60, aided by 11 independent councillors. Prasanna Chand Mehta beat Rajendra Solanki 53-47 in Jodhpur. Anusuiya Goswami won Kota 65-35. BJP's Jitendra Chopra won Suket municipality chair 13-12 by one vote.
