Adani Defence signs 5-year AK-203 ammunition supply deal

Adani Defence and Aerospace signed a five-year agreement with Indo-Russian Rifles Pvt Ltd to supply indigenously made 7.62x39 mm ammunition for AK-203 rifles built in India. IRRPL makes the rifles at Korwa in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, under a 2019 India-Russia pact. The Defence Ministry contracted IRRPL in December 2021 for 6,01,427 AK-203 rifles. Adani also has a Kanpur plant.
