Nine die after spurious liquor in Sagar

Nine people died after drinking spurious liquor in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district on September 6, 2026, police said. Sagar SP Anurag Sujania said the victims drank in two villages of Banda tehsil, about 30 km away. Two other deaths were not linked to the liquor. MLA Virendra Lodhi said 11 died and about 25 needed advanced care.
