Haryana blocks farmers' march at Khanauri

Haryana Police stopped 51 farmers of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) at the Khanauri-Data Singhwala border on 16 August. The group had begun a 228-km Kisan Bachao Padyatra toward Jantar Mantar, due on 29 August. Jind police cited Section 163 BNSS and said the march had no permission. Concrete barricades and barbed wire sealed the crossing. Traffic to Punjab was diverted.
