Sukesh Chandrasekhar jailed for Supreme Court judge impersonation

A Delhi court jailed Sukesh Chandrasekhar for eight years for impersonating a Supreme Court judge to influence bail in a 2017 corruption case, Livemint reported. Chief Judicial Magistrate Harshita Mishra of Tis Hazari Court ordered the term on August 20. Terms covered IPC Sections 170, 187 and 507. He has moved the Delhi High Court against the conviction.
