Jharkhand cancels JSSC-CGL exam after weeks of protest

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on 17 August that the Cabinet had cancelled the JSSC Combined Graduate Level examination and all recruitment tests run by TSR Data Processing Private Limited since 2014. The announcement followed weeks of student protests over alleged irregularities. Results were cancelled too. An exam reforms committee will be led by senior IAS officer Amitabh Kaushal.
