Vijay cites Sarkaria report against DMK in Assembly

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Monday invoked the nearly 50-year-old Sarkaria Commission findings against the DMK while replying on Police and Fire grants. Quoting the report, he said the party received Rs 29 lakh in seven instalments between 1970 and 1974 over Veeranam. He also cited an ED claim of 7.5 percent to 10 percent party-fund collections.
