BJP names Udaipur MP to head national ST Morcha

BJP president Nitin Nabin appointed Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat as national president of the party's Scheduled Tribe Morcha. Rawat, a first-time MP, won the 2024 Udaipur seat by 2,61,608 votes. The choice was reported against the rise of the Bharatiya Adivasi Party in southern Rajasthan. BAP won the Banswara Lok Sabha seat in 2024 after a 2023 split.
