BJP allies to jointly contest Tripura village polls

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the BJP, IPFT and TIPRA Motha will jointly contest TTAADC village committee elections on September 28. He spoke after meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah and TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma in New Delhi. Seat-sharing is not final. He said the 2024 tripartite accord would be taken up next month.
