Parliament finance panel hears Binance, WazirX, and ZebPay on virtual digital assets

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance met Binance, WazirX, and ZebPay on May 20 in New Delhi to study virtual digital assets. Chaired by BJP MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, the panel also heard IFSCA officials and finance ministries on taxation, investor protection, and a broader regulatory framework for cryptocurrency trading, compliance, and offshore capital flows in India.
