Bhopal DMS students protest proposed Kendriya Vidyalaya merger

On 18 August 2026, students of Bhopal's Demonstration Multipurpose School rallied with Save DMS posters against a proposed merger with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. They submitted a memorandum to Regional Institute of Education principal Prof SK Gupta. About 300 to 400 students and parents joined. The campus is also known as Regional School. Officials have not issued a detailed public reply.
