Uttar Pradesh evacuates 17,544 people in floods

Uttar Pradesh said more than 17,500 people were evacuated from 26 flood-affected areas, with 17,544 moved to safer locations. The Relief Commissioner said around 3.53 lakh people were affected. About 4,847 people are in relief shelters. The government reported no loss of life or livestock so far. It listed 1,312 flood shelters and 1,068 medical teams deployed.
