Greater Noida DM challenges HC NSA order

Gautam Buddha Nagar DM Medha Roopam moved the Supreme Court against an Allahabad High Court order. It directed recovery of Rs 5 lakh from her salary over an NSA detention. On September 2 it quashed Delhi University student Akriti Chaudhary's detention as illegal. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had said an appeal would follow. Chaudhary was held after the Noida protest.
