Bank unions call Sept 11 strike over five-day week
The Hindu··2 Sept
The United Forum of Bank Unions announced a one-day strike on September 11 over a five-day banking week and the revised Performance Linked Incentive scheme. A three-day strike is set for September 28 to 30. An indefinite strike is planned from October 26 if demands stay unmet. UFBU says it represents more than 90 percent of bank workers.
