Bombay Bar Association asks BCI chairman to resign

The Bombay Bar Association wrote that BCI chairman Manan Kumar Mishra ought to have resigned after directing State Bar Councils not to enrol NALSAR's 2026 graduating batch. The Standing Committee met on 17 and 18 August. It said his 15 August apology was belated because he still holds the chair. It welcomed the later closure of student proceedings.
