Bihar and Jharkhand sign MoU to share Sone river water

Bihar and Jharkhand signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday to share Sone river water. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren signed it with Union Home Minister Amit Shah present. Shah said the pact will provide irrigation and drinking water in Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, Aurangabad, Arwal, Gaya, and Patna districts.
