United Russia leads with 58 percent counted in early results

Early results from Russia's wartime parliamentary election showed United Russia leading on Monday, The Hindu reported. With about 58 percent of precincts counted, the party had nearly 58 percent of party-list votes for 225 deputies, the commission said. Another 225 lawmakers will be chosen in single-seat races. Kyiv rejected balloting in annexed Ukrainian regions and Crimea.
