UNC pauses Manipur highway blockade from 6 p.m.

The United Naga Council agreed to temporarily lift its Manipur highway economic blockade after talks with the Centre and State government in Guwahati on Saturday. UNC president Ng. Lorho said the pause begins at 6 p.m. on September 26 after the government said demands would be addressed. Blockades on National Highways 2, 202 and 102A began on June 11.
