Three dead after water and debris flood Chamoli tunnel

Three workers died and one remained trapped after water and debris entered an under-construction THDC tunnel of the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydroelectric project in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, on Thursday evening. Twenty-two workers were inside near Mayapur around 7 pm. Rescue teams brought out 18 people. NDRF and SDRF continued the search for the remaining worker through Thursday night.
