CAQM finds only 6 working cameras at 691 Gurugram sites

The Commission for Air Quality Management on Wednesday called out the Haryana State Pollution Control Board for wilful non-compliance in monitoring construction and demolition sites. A June 19-22 remote check found almost no working camera links across major NCR districts. In Gurugram North, only 6 of 691 active sites had functional links. Faridabad had 4 of 168.

- Panipat had 213 active C&D sites and Sonipat 457 in the sampled window.
- Faridabad showed 4 working links among 168 sites; Gurugram South had 5 of 484.
- Faults included dead URLs, bad logins, app-only links and cameras offline after login.
