Central Railway opens October ticket checking drive

Central Railway will intensify ticket checks from October 1 to October 31 on concessions, quotas and passes. CPRO Swapnil Nila said at least one passenger on a group ticket has to carry the prescribed original ID. Without it, all passengers on that ticket are treated as travelling without a valid ticket. Unreserved tickets may be verified on the TTE App.

Accepted identity proofs

- Nationalised bank passbooks with photograph and certain photo credit cards are listed too.
