Russia begins seaborne gasoline imports from India amid shortages

Russia has started seaborne gasoline imports from India, two industry sources said on July 1, to mitigate fuel shortages triggered by Ukrainian attacks on energy infrastructure. At least 60,000 metric tons have been dispatched in two tankers with parcels of 30,000 to 40,000 tons each. Russia plans to import 400,000 tons monthly including supplies from Belarus.
