Bengal CM urges phone restrictions in schools on Teachers Day

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari called for restricting mobile phones in schools on Teachers Day Saturday. He cited Gujarat, where phones are not used from Class I to Class XII. He announced two CM Shri model schools in each district, with admission from Class VI on merit. Teacher recruitment will follow Supreme Court and Calcutta High Court directions.
