Madras HC quashes Waqf Board dargah order

The Madras High Court set aside a Tamil Nadu Waqf Board resolution that declared a Triplicane dargah a waqf property and appointed a new Mutawalli. Justice K Govindarajan Thilakavadi held that the mere presence of a dargah does not automatically give the Board jurisdiction without statutory requirements being met.
