ISRO chief says 56 satellites, 50 launches needed

ISRO chairman V Narayanan said Monday the space agency is not being privatised and remains a government organisation. He said ISRO has 56 satellites in space while the requirement is 50 launches every year. Narayanan said almost 80% of the budget is invested in industry, with 450 industries working for the agency.
