Tata Elxsi partners Sarla on 6-seat Shunya air taxi

Tata Elxsi has partnered Bengaluru-based Sarla Aviation to develop an air taxi carrying six passengers and a pilot on the Shunya platform. Under the MoU, Tata Elxsi will support avionics, flight-control systems, software integration, testing and certification. Sarla Aviation will lead design, development and type certification. Shunya targets flight operations exceeding 300 km with vertical take-off and landing.
