Revanth Reddy drops Konda Surekha from cabinet

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy decided on Thursday to remove Endowments Minister Konda Surekha from the Cabinet. A recommendation has been sent to Governor Jishnu Dev Varma. The TPCC disciplinary committee had recommended action after controversies involving her daughter's remarks. Gadwal Vijayalakshmi was named Vice-Chairperson of the Telangana State Planning Board with Cabinet rank.
