Trainer plane leaves runway during Baramati drills

On August 9 around 12:25 to 12:35 pm, Cessna C172 VT-SEX of the Academy of Carver Aviation veered off runway 29 at Baramati after rejected take-off drills. Captain Chirag Shashikant Doifode and cadet Abhijeet Jundre were on board. There were no injuries. Damage was reported to the propeller, engine cowling and nose gear, and DGCA Air Safety opened a probe.
