Choksi lawyer held in London on assault charges

On 11 August 2026, Metropolitan Police arrested Indian lawyer Vijay Aggarwal, 57, at 29 Brick Street, Mayfair, after reports of sexual assault. He was charged on 13 August with four counts involving two women under Section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. Assistant Manpreet Kaur, 41, faces two counts of encouraging offences. Both remain in custody.
