MHA designates 23 Pakistan linked individuals as terrorists under UAPA

The Union Home Ministry on July 4, 2026, designated 23 individuals linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jamaat-ud-Dawa and The Resistance Front as terrorists under Section 35 of UAPA. Seventeen are Pakistani nationals and six are Indian nationals operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The list includes operatives accused of recruitment, financing and attacks including Sunjwan 2022 and Nagrota 2016.
